The Gift You Are

I give thanks for the opportunity to serve you another year. The people of TIHAN--CarePartners, volunteers, donors--have amazed me. Over the past year, I have been witness to great works of healing. Great deeds of compassion. Great acts of faith and hope. Great efforts of love.

I have seen you open the eyes of those around you. I have seen you open the hearts of those around you. I have seen you making connections, and building bridges. I have seen you reaching out to each other.

I have seen you touching hands, touching hearts, touching lives. I have seen you unite in the diversity of all God's people, in support of this mission of TIHAN: to speak out, to end the silence, to reach out, to end the isolation, to act out, to end the stigma, to begin the healing, to extend the welcome, to embrace the love.

We have been asked to do more than ever before. And you have responded. Last year, TIHAN provided services and support to more people than ever before.

I treasure the opportunity to work with you, to play with you, to love with you, and to cry with you. To hope with you, to grieve with you. To learn about each other, and learn to appreciate the diversity of God's people.
